The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at 3 p.m., a 19-year-old woman was in the Scott Library at York University
- while in the library, a man sexually assaulted the woman and committed an indecent act
- the woman, a student, alerted campus security who responded and held the man for police
On Sunday, September, 15, 2013, Henry Kang, 35, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Sexual assault
2) Indecent acts
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, September 16, 2013, at 10 a.m.
