On Monday, September 16, 2013, at 1:29 a.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at Steeles Avenue West, east of Bathurst Street.
It is reported that:
- a 21-year-old man was operating a 2006 Hyundai westbound on Steeles Avenue West, in the passing lane, approaching Bathurst Street
- a 23-year-old man was attempting to cross Steeles Avenue West, from the south side to the north side east of the intersection, and was struck by the truck
The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
