Sexual Assault Alert, Near Roy Thompson Hall, Photograph of suspect released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault that occurred on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at approximately 5:45 p.m.

It is reported that:

- a 15-year-old girl was with a group of people at Roy Thompson Hall attending a Toronto International Film Festival event

- the girl was standing at a barricade with a large group of people when a man sexually assaulted her

- the man fled the area

The man is described as white, 45-55, 5'6", medium build. He was wearing a greyish-blue baseball cap with the words "Blackcomb Whistler SRT."

It is believed that the sexual assault was observed by an unidentified male witness.

In addition, there were media outlets filming the event who might have captured the suspect on video.
