The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a recent series of street robberies.
It is reported that:
- between Saturday, July 20, 2013, and Friday, September 13, 2013, police have investigated several street robberies in the College Street/Bathurst Street area
- these robberies have seen men targeting women walking alone or in pairs between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.
- the men are described as black, in their late teens to mid 20s, 5'5"-5'11", with thin or medium builds
Police would like to remind the public to be mindful of their surroundings.
