Police seek assistance with stabbing investigation, Weston Road and Denarda Street area, Update, Three men and a woman charged

On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, the Toronto Police Service announced it was seeking assistance with a stabbing investigation.

On Monday, April 9, 2018, at approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the Weston Road and Denarda Street area.

It is alleged that:

- a physical altercation occurred between the victim, a 21-year-old man, and multiple males

- the 21-year-old man was stabbed in the eye

On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, members of 12 Division located and arrested three men and a woman.

Zaid Mohammed, 21; Tyrell Smith, 20; and Daniel Douglas, 22; all of Toronto, were each charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Weapons Dangerous

Darlique Rand, 20, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Threatening Death

They were scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 10 a.m., room 204.
