Traffic fatality #39/2013, Rosedale Valley Road/Bayview Avenue

On Saturday, September 7, 2013, at approximately 2:05 a.m., police responded to a personal injury collision on Rosedale Valley Road at Bayview Avenue.

It is reported that:

- a 36-year-old man was operating a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on Rosedale Valley Road, approaching Bayview Avenue

- the motorcycle was exiting an "S" bend in the road, at which point the rider lost control of his motorcycle and struck the south curb of Rosedale Valley Road

- the motorcycle mounted the curb and the rider struck a light standard

The man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at hospital
