Man charged in Child Sexual Abuse Material Investigation, Daniel Smyth, 35

On Thursday, March 22, 2018, members of the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue West area.

It is alleged that:

- a man possessed, accessed and made available child sexual abuse material over the internet

As a result of the evidence gathered by police, Daniel Smyth, 35, of Toronto was arrested. He was charged with:

1. Two counts of Possession of Child Pornography
2. Two counts of Access Child Pornography
3. Two counts of Make available Child Pornography

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 2 p.m.
