The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an Attempt Murder investigation.
On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to a stabbing in the Danforth Avenue and Greenwood Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- a man attended the address of another man and confronted him
- the man produced a large knife and stabbed the victim several times
- the man fled the area on foot
- the victim was rushed to hospital
Members of 54 Division Major Crime Unit started an investigation.
On Saturday, March 17, 2018, Adam Bryan James MacDougall, 22, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:
1) Attempt Murder
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, March 17, 2018, 10 a.m.
