The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an investigation into Thefts from vehicles.
Between Monday, January 1, 2018 and Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in the Topham Park, Parkview Hills and Edge Park areas, numerous vehicles were broken into.
It is alleged that:
- the man walked onto properties not belonging to him
- he proceeded to check the doors of vehicles parked in the driveways
- if the vehicles were locked, he broke into them and removed property
On Sunday, March 4, 2018, Jordan Cox, 20, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) 32 counts of Loitering/Prowl by night on other persons property
2) 24 counts of Theft not exceeding $5000
3) Mischief/Damage of Property not exceeding $5000
4) two counts of Possession of Property or thing obtained by crime/not exceeding $5000
He appeared in court at College Park on Monday, March 5, 2018.
