The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an Assault Peace Officer investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Monday, March 5, 2018, at 10:52 a.m., a Parking Enforcement Officer was issuing parking tickets in the Ardwold Gate and Spadina Road area
- a man, 28, became very aggressive and assaulted a Parking Enforcement Officer after the officer issued a parking ticket to a vehicle
- police arrived, investigated and subsequently arrested the man
On Monday, March 5, 2018, Paul Saavedra 28, of Brampton, was arrested.
He is charged with:
1) Assault Peace Officer
He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, April 12, 2018, 2 p.m.
