On Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 3 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the area of Galt Ave, north of Gerrard Street East.
It is reported that:
- two men confronted a 19-year-old man in the area of Galt Avenue, north of Gerrard Street East
- during the confrontation, shots were fired at the 19-year-old man
- the victim fled and was met by police in the area of 1011 Gerrard Street East
- the victim received three gunshot wounds to the body
- the men fled the scene
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects are described as:
1) 5'8"-5'10", 17-20, dark, curly afro with slim build. He was last seen wearing jeans, a dark hoodie with the hood up and a purple baseball cap.
2) 5'7"-5'9", 17-20. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans and running shoes.
