The Toronto Police Service Martial Arts Club will host a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu charity roll-a-thon on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the Toronto Police College, 70 Birmingham Street.

Proceeds from the three-hour event, that starts at 10 a.m., will go to SickKids Foundation.

Matt Stuart, the Toronto Police Amateur Athletic Association Chair and Inspector Riyaz Hussein, of the Toronto Police College, are excited to organise and support this event for such an important cause.

Training Constable Matt Stuart says, "It’s the first time we are doing something like this and we are counting on the support of Service members because the funds are going to a good cause." The entry fee for the athletes is $15 for the friendly roll-a-thon with all proceeds going toward SickKids Foundation.

Music for the event will be D.J. Slim, who has donated his time. Food trucks will be available. "Fight Planet" will be attending the event and have offered to donate a portion of the money raised from food and merchandise sales toward SickKids Foundation.

There will be athletes from all over Ontario attending the family-friendly event.
