The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance with an Assault with a Weapon investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at approximately 7 p.m., a suspect approached a 29-year-old man in the parking lot of 1245 Dupont Street
- the suspect, believed to be unknown to the 29-year-old man, got into a verbal altercation with him
- the suspect produced a sharp edged weapon and slashed the 29-year-old man in the neck area
- the 29-year-old man received non-life-threatening injuries
The suspect is described as white, 5'10"–5'11", medium build, straight brown/blonde hair in a ponytail, square face, rotting teeth, approximately 40, last seen wearing a red/burgundy ¾-length women’s winter coat with a brown fur collar, dark pants, brown purse.
A photograph of the suspect has been released.
