On Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police responded to a call for a pedestrian struck collision, on Humber College Boulevard at Windwood Drive.
It is reported that:
- a 59-year-old woman was a passenger on a TTC bus which had been westbound on Humber College Boulevard
- after getting off the bus just east of a pedestrian crossover on Humber College Boulevard and Windwood Drive, the woman proceeded to cross at that pedestrian crossover, in front of the bus, from the north to south side
- an 18-year-old man, driving a GMC Sierra pickup truck westbound, struck the woman
The woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced.
