The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest in an ongoing Break-and-Enter investigation.
On Friday, December 1, 2017, at 6:56 p.m., officers responded to a call for a Break-and-Enter in the Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- a man forced entry into a home by smashing the rear glass patio door
- he targeted the master bedroom
- he obtained a quantity of jewellery
- the residents returned home and found him inside
- they apprehended him and held him for police
Everton Miller, 55, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) eight counts of Break-and-Enter
2) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, December 2, 2017, 10 a.m., room 101.
