On Saturday, August 24, 2013, at approximately 9:45 p.m., police were patrolling the Jane Street/Falstaff Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- while officers were investigating a group of five men in a stairwell, one of the men fled
- officers caught the man and, during the arrest, tucked within the man's pants, a loaded Smith and Wesson semi-automatic firearm was seized
The man, in his 20s, faces six gun-related charges.
