The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an Arson investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Friday, December 1, 2017, several fires were set in the areas between Lennox Street and Harbord Street, from Euclid Avenue to Bathurst Street
- with the assistance of the public, a man was arrested in the area
Makoons Meawasige-Moore, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with:
1) six counts of Arson Disregard for Human Life and Arson Causing Property Damage
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
