The Toronto Police Service would like the public’s assistance locating a man and woman wanted in a Theft Over $5,000 investigation.
On Sunday, November 26, 2017, officers responded to a call for a theft at a drug store in the Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East area.
It is reported that:
- a man and woman entered the store
- the man distracted the clerk by asking questions about expensive perfumes
- the woman selected a number of the perfumes
- they both exited the store quickly
The man is described as 25-35, 5’10"- 6’0", average build, wearing a black t-shirt and a dark-coloured baseball cap.
The woman is described as 30-40, 5’4"-5’6", average build, long brown hair, wearing glasses and a green winter jacket.
Security camera images of the man and woman are released.
