On Sunday, December 3, 2017, the first North Etobicoke Santa Claus Parade will take place.
From 11 p.m. until 1 p.m., staging of the parade will take place on Thistle Down Boulevard, between Barkwin Drive and Albion Road.
The parade will start at 1 p.m. and proceed southbound on Thistle Down Road, to westbound on Albion Road, to the dispersal area at the parking lot at Albion Centre Mall, east of Finch Avenue.
The parade is expected to conclude at 3 p.m.
Road closures during the event:
- Thistle Down Boulevard, from Barkwin Drive to Albion Road
- Albion Road, from Thistle Down Boulevard to Finch Avenue
Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation.
