The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public that a second man has been arrested in a multiple stabbing investigation.
On Friday, October 20, 2017, at 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the Lawrence Avenue East and Rushley Drive area.

On Saturday November 11, 2017, at 8:12 a.m., Mohammad Ilyas Patel, 19, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Assault with a weapon
2) Assault
3) Possess weapon dangerous to public peace
4) Two counts of fail to comply with recognizance
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 10 a.m.
