The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services has designated Sunday, November 5, 2017, to Saturday, November 11, 2017, as Crime Prevention Week in Ontario. The theme for this year has been established as: "Building Safer Communities Together."
The Toronto Police Service will be hosting a Crime Prevention Week kick-off event in partnership with the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, which will emphasize the innovative and collaborative work achieved between the Toronto Police Service, City of Toronto, Toronto Community Housing, local residents and community-based agencies.
This event will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 10 a.m., at Burrows Hall Community Centre, 1081 Progress Avenue.
