On Sunday, April 17, 2016, at 1:30 a.m., police responded to a shooting near Danforth Avenue and Coxwell Avenue.
Once on scene, police located a man without vital signs. He was taken to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
The man has been identified as Abdullah Farah, 20, of Toronto.

He advised the firearm was recovered, the vehicle was identified, and investigators want to speak with two witnesses who were with the deceased at the time of the homicide.

On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, Trestan Brown, 24, of Brampton, was arrested and charged with:
1) Second-Degree Murder
He is scheduled to appear in court next at College Park on Monday, October 30, 2017, 9 a.m., room 505.
