Police request assistance with fraud investigation, Security camera images of suspect released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a fraud investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, between 1:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., a man entered a bank and was able to successfully impersonate a bank client by providing identification and answering all security verification questions

- the man then received a replacement debit card

- the man then attended two other branches and made withdrawals of funds from the account, totaling $7,500

The same man is allegedly responsible for a similar fraud in Peel Region.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, 20-30, 5'8"- 6', medium build and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing dark-framed glasses.
