Police request assistance with robbery investigation

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a robbery investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, August 9, 2013, between 2:15 a.m. and 2:45 a.m., two men and one woman were walking northbound on the west side of Ossington Avenue from Bloor Street West

- as the victims walked past the Ossington subway station, they were approached by two men, one of the two men was armed with a handgun

- the two men and one woman were forced at gunpoint into a laneway that runs north off of Northumberland Avenue, just west of Ossington

- the armed man then struck both male victims in the head with the firearm

- once a quantity of cash was handed over to the suspects by the victims, they fled westbound on Northumberland Avenue

Suspect one is described as white, 20-30, 5’6” with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and dark jeans. He was armed with a handgun.

Suspect two is described as white, 20-30, 5’10”, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and jeans
