Police request assistance with personal injury collision Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West

On Monday, August 12, 2013, at approximately 8:55 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West.

It is reported that:

- a 55-year-old man was operating a 2011 Toyota Camry northbound on Bathurst Street at Finch Avenue West

- a man was crossing Bathurst Street, just north of Finch Avenue West, from the west side to the east side

-the Toyota struck the man in the curb lane

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

At this time the pedestrian has not been identified.

He appears to be of Asian decent and middle aged. He was wearing bifocal glasses, uses dentures, and had a “Fossil” watch on. He was wearing brown sandals, blue jean shorts and a black nylon zip-up jacket with red cuffs and red stripes down the arms.
