Public Safety Alert, Stolen medication Warden Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of stolen medication.

On Saturday, August 26, 2017, between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., a container of prescription medication was stolen in the Warden Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East area.

The container contained 80 tablets of Dilaudid (hydromorphone), 30 mg.

The narcotic, used for the treatment of pain, could be harmful if ingested, especially to children. Adverse or overdose symptoms may include slow breathing and heart rate, severe drowsiness, muscle weakness, cold and clammy skin, pinpoint pupils, fainting or death.
