See previous release.
A post-mortem examination determined the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the torso.
On Friday, August 9, 2013, members of the Toronto Police Service Homicide Squad, assisted by the ETF and several Major Crime and uniform officers, executed several search warrants within the Swansea Mews townhouse complex.
As a result of the search warrant, Christopher Shaw, 21, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with Second-Degree Murder.
A news conference was held updating the media on the warrants and arrest, at which time two men who remained outstanding in the investigation were named; Eli Goldman, 23, and Jeffrey Troung, 25, both of Toronto.
Later that same day, both these men were arrested, without incident, and charged with Second-Degree Murder.
The positive results of this investigation are a direct result of the participation and assistance of people in the neighbourhood. Witnesses presented themselves almost immediately, and provided statements to the police as to what they saw and heard the day of the shooting. Investigators and family of the deceased are grateful for their assistance.
The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are attempting to identify the possibility of two other people who may have been involved in this investigation.
