The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two incidents that occurred in the area of Ionview Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
It is reported that:
- on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., a 43-year-old woman was waiting for a TTC bus
- she was struck by an unknown projectile, from an unknown direction
- she sustained non-life-threatening injuries
It is further reported that:
- on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., a 22-year-old woman was waiting for a TTC bus
- she was struck by an unknown projectile, from an unknown direction
- the projectile pierced her skin and she was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
