The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a wanted man.
It is alleged that:
- a 23-year-old man was seated in his parked car in the Thorncliffe Park Drive and Overlea Drive area
- a 21-year-old man, armed with a baseball bat, approached the 23-year-old man and hit the man's car with the bat
- the man drove off and called police
- the 21-year-old man ran after the victim and threatened him with a firearm
Aamir Javed, 21, of Toronto, is described as brown, 5'10", 154 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes and a thin build.
He was wearing a white T-shirt and white/red checkered shorts.
