Police request assistance with fatal collision #27/2013 Steeles Avenue West/Islington Avenue

On Saturday, August 3, 2013, at approximately 3 a.m., a collision occurred on Steeles Avenue West near Islington Avenue.

It is reported that:

- a 25-year-old-man was driving a 2004 Nissan, eastbound on Steeles Avenue West, near Islington Avenue

- the man lost control of his vehicle, crossed into the westbound lanes, left the roadway, and struck a tree on the north side of Steeles Avenue West

The man, the sole occupant, was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
