Man arrested in ongoing Fraud investigation into online ticket sales, Nigel Noel, 28, facing four charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest in an ongoing Fraud investigation.

It is alleged that:

- during April 2017, victims purchased hockey tickets from a person through an ad on Kijiji

- money was electronically transferred via email as payment for the hockey tickets

- once the money was transferred, the seller ceased all communication with the victims and did not transfer the tickets

On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, Nigel Noel, 28 of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) three counts of Fraud under $5000
2) Identity Fraud

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have purchased event tickets from a person unknown to them and sent an email money transfer to the following:
