Fahmy Saggaf, 41, charged in Sexual Assault investigation, Police concerned there might be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, a 15-year-old girl boarded an Uber from the bus terminal at Bay Street and Edward Street

- during the ride, the driver sexually assaulted the girl

- the girl was dropped off at her destination

In May 2017, the girl spoke of the incident and was encouraged to report it.

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, the driver, Fahmy Saggaf, 41, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Interference

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Police are concerned there may be other victims and encourage them to come forward.
