On Monday, July, 29, 2013, officers from 54 Division will be focused on drivers operating electric bicycles. Officers will be enforcing all Highway Traffic Act and Traffic by-law offences specific to the electric bicycle.
The kick-off will take place on Monday, July 29, 2013, at 7:30 a.m., at 54 Division, 41 Cranfield Road. This campaign will run 24 hours, seven days a week, ending on Saturday, August 31, 2013.
Toronto Police Service is reminding electric bicycle riders to keep their equipment in good order and obey all rules of the road.

"Abiding by traffic safety rules will keep the simple pleasure of a bike ride safe," said Sergeant Jack West.
